WordPress 3.0 “Thelonious” has been released
The long waited new wordpress version is finally out. After months of announcements, testings and fixing the bug-free version is out.
What wordpress 3.0 has new ? A new default theme, menu management, wordpress MU integration and a lighter admin panel.
To get the new version you don’t need to download anything, you have only to press upgrade on your administration panel. If you haven’t check you can do it now and upgrade.
The old themes and plugins work very well with the new wordpress, but some new features may need some changes. I hope you don’t have any problems with the new version and please come back and share your first impressions.

Just a few seconds for the upgrade process. This is one of the greatest upgrade of WordPress. I really love it.

Yes, it is like any other update that you can do from your admin panel, in few seconds you are done. Even if no one encountered problems so far, you really need to do a full backup before upgrade, just for precaution.
